Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sticky Habits. By signing up you confirm that you are.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your password — or your OAuth provider account — secure. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access by emailing stickyhabits.tz@gmail.com.

You may only have one account per person unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Your content

The habits you create, the screenshots you upload, and the composite images you generate are yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process them solely to provide the service to you — for example, to build your daily composite image, run OCR on a proof file, or display your habit history back to you.

We will notuse your content for marketing, sell it, share it for advertising, use it to train AI models, or transfer your full data to any third party. The only sharing that ever happens is the minimum data necessary to deliver a specific feature through one of the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy — or when sharing is legally required by a valid court order or binding regulatory request, in which case we share only the data legally compelled.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Sticky Habits to harass, defame, or harm others
• Upload illegal content, malware, or material you don’t have the right to upload
• Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the service
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to your account
• Game the system in ways that misrepresent your habits to other people — for example, fabricated proof images shared publicly as if they were real records of your work

Honesty is the whole point of habit tracking. Cheat yourself if you must, but please don’t drag others into a fake performance.

5. Plans and billing

Sticky Habits offers a free tier with usage limits. We may offer paid tiers with expanded limits. Paid tiers are billed monthly through a payment processor described at the time of purchase.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not issue refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

If a payment fails, your plan may revert to the free tier and the corresponding limits will apply until payment is restored.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Sticky Habits running, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may take the service down for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control.

We may also change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we shut down a paid feature you depend on, we’ll either refund unused time or provide reasonable advance notice.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Your data → Delete account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, attempt to abuse the service, or for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we’ll give notice and let you export your data first.

Account termination wipes your data per our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Sticky Habits is a habit-tracking tool, not professional advice. Nothing inside it is medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. Use it as a personal accountability aid.

Free tier.If you use Sticky Habits on the free tier, you have not paid us anything and we have not received any compensation or commercial benefit from your data — we do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. Because no payment has been exchanged and no commercial value has been extracted from your use of the service, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law we accept no monetary liability arising from or related to your use of the free tier.

Paid tier. If you use a paid tier, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law our total liability arising from or related to your use of Sticky Habits is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In all cases, and to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Sticky Habits is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date and, for significant changes, give reasonable notice by email or in-app. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Tanzania.
